... Integrity is the essence
of everything successful ...
R. Buckminster Fuller
CREATIVITY
Nothing
to a designer is more sacred than their work. At BestInShow Design
we work hard for success. We are proud of our standing in the
web design community and are pleased to have many fellow designers
as friends. However a very disturbing trend began a few years
ago, that of fellow "dog breeder" designers
taking copyright text from the BestInShow Design site for use on their
own web sites, and then having the audacity to display their
own "copyright" notice
on pages with our content. Others have taken entire layouts and claimed
them as their own!
Some say
imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, however copyright is a serious matter. We are
tired of the blatant plagiarism of our web site/s and are prepared
to take a stand to protect our intellectual property and that of
our clients.
\Pla"gia*rism\,
n.
1: a piece of writing that has been copied from someone
else and is presented as being your own work
2: the act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were
your own.

CURRENT OFFENCES
- October 15, 2008: It
is amazing how many "Dog Breeder Website Designers" feel
they can plagiarize text from the BestInShow Design website
and claim copyright as their own - where is their integrity
and moral standing?
Yet
another copyright offence rears it head today. Thanks
to those who sent us the link to this site.
Some say imitation is the sincerest form

tired of the blatant plagiarism of our web site/s and are prepared
to take a stand to protect our intellectual property and that
of our clients. We do not send a copyright
infringement notice unless we have proof of an offence, nor will
we accept any excuse. There is much difference
between finding "inspiration" and plagiarism. Once
again:
